Pattaya Web Design and Development

I want a new website, where do I start?

The first step to getting a new website built is figuring out what it is that you are after.

The more preparation and detail you have in the early stages, the smoother the whole process will go. Projects starting with "I want something similar to ebay" tend to go horribly wrong!

Key questions include:

  • Who is your target audience?
  • What do you hope to achieve once the new website is complete?
  • What pages will the site include?
  • Can visitors do anything other than read the site? eg. Purchase, signup, memberships, join mailing list etc
  • What are your existing website and/or social media accounts?
  • Do you have any examples of websites with a similar functionality to what you are after?
  • Do you have any examples of websites with a similar style and appearance to what you are after?
  • What is your budget?

Should I look Local or Remote for a web design company?

When it comes to building a new website the choice of companies is overwhelming given that the internet has broken down the barriers of location.

It is easy to find a company offering what seems like a bargain from a far corner of the world. But having experienced this situation many times, both as the customer and the provider, we know there are pitfalls to look out for.

1 Communication

When you are speaking with someone who doesn't speak your native language, communication can suffer. This is only amplified when the communication is remote and supporting aspects such as eye contact, facial expressions and hand signals cannot be seen.

2 Timezones

Having to arrange meetings for 7am or 9pm can be a struggle for anyones schedule, so it is always easiest to avoid people at the opposite end of the world from you. Places with a 6-8 hour time difference work much better with an overlap during working hours.

3 Personal touch

While not essential, putting a face to a name can often strengthen a working relationship and give both parties more confidence in what they are doing.

Here at AWcode, we work frequently with clients both internationally and locally in Pattaya.

If you are looking for a Pattaya based web development company, then we are here ready to assist. But even if you are further afield we have learnt how to mitigate the challenges above, though not yet succeeded in reducing the time difference between the USA and Pattaya!

Our experienced team of web designers and developers are ready and waiting to complete your next online project.

If you are in or near Pattaya, its best to stop by and discuss your website in person, otherwise drop us an email and we will get in touch.
